Our Story

Elmore County Amateur Radio Club (ECARC) is a non-profit community group of ham radio operators and those interested in the hobby. The club is comprised of individuals from Elmore County, Idaho and the surrounding area.

ECARC: Meetings are held on the first and third Saturdays of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Club House located at 315 West Jackson Street in Mountain Home Idaho.

NETS: The weekly club net is held every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. on the 145.19 repeater.

Frequencies: The ECARC utilizes a Repeater located in the Old Mellan Hotel in Mountain Home. The Repeaters output is 145.19, and a 110.9 PL tone is required for access.

The club also has a 70cm Repeater that operates on 442.825, and also requires a 110.9 PL tone for access.

How to Join? General Membership is open to anyone interested. An amateur radio license is not required to become a member. Membership cost is $25 per year. Stop in on one of our our monthly meetings to chat and ask questions about the club.
