The Elmore County Amateur Radio Club (ECARC) is a non-profit community group of ham radio operators and those interested in the hobby. The club is comprised of individuals from Elmore County, Idaho and the surrounding area.
ECARC: Meetings are held on the first and third Saturdays of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Club House located at 315 West Jackson Street in Mountain Home Idaho.
Frequencies: The ECARC owns and operates several repeater systems. All amateur radio operators are invited to access the repeaters on the following frequencies:
VHF 145.19 PL 110.9 – Offset VHF 147.34 PL 100.0 + Offset UHF 442.825 PL 110.9 + Offset UHF 444.700 PL 110.9 + Offset
NETS: The weekly Club Net is held every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. The above listed frequencies/repeaters are linked for the Net. All amateur radio operators are welcome to check into the Net.
The Club also has an “Anything Goes Net” on Mondays and Fridays at 7:00 p.m. All amateur radio operators are welcome to check into this net as well.
How to Join? General Membership is open to anyone interested. An amateur radio license is not required to become a member. Membership cost is $25 per year. Stop in on one of our our monthly meetings to chat and ask questions about the club.
